About the event
PRE-REGISTRATION IS MANDATORY. REGISTRATION DEADLINE TUESDAY 24 MARCH 2026
Dates: Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 March
Time: 8:30AM to 4PM
Venue: Belize City. (Mexico Centre at the Marion Jones Sporting Complex)
Entry Fee: $40 - Payable on the day. (Late registration, if accepted, $60)
Time 90 minutes per player for all moves (or equivalent such as 80/15)
Notation of moves is mandatory in accordance with FIDE regulations.
Open to Players of Any Age
Pre-registration is Mandatory. Registration will close on Tuesday March 24 at 11PM.
Format: 4 round Swiss. Players will be divided into 2 sections based on BCF rating: Master's for the higher rated players and challengers for all other players.
The tournament is open to all players.
Prize fund will depend on the number of participants. It will be BCF rated ad BCF Circuit points will be awarded. Games may be FIDE rated.
